Green logistics is for pioneers

DHL is at the forefront of green logistics. DHL was the first logistics company to commit to a measurable carbon efficiency target back in 2008. We pledged to improve our carbon efficiency by 30% by 2021 (compared to 2007). We achieved this in 2016, four years ahead of schedule. In March 2017, DHL announced a commitment to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. In 2021, the DHL Group announced that it would invest €7 billion in clean operations and climate-neutral logistics by 2030. For example, the funds will be used to electrify 60% of its last-mile fleet by 2030. This will put more than 80,000 electric vehicles on the road.
