DHL eSecure is an advanced security feature that prevents unauthorized use of DHL Express account(s).
With DHL’s eSecure online solution, you can rest assured that no business or individual will be able to use your DHL account number(s) within our shipping tools : MyDHL+ and/or eMailship.
Please be aware that the approval is given on user-level and not on shipment-level.
Once your account is registered, as eSecure administrator it is up to you to decide who can use your DHL Express account for their shipments.

How does DHL eSecure work?

Using eSecure
Decide who in your company or in your professional network needs access to the features and who should be defined as your “Account Administrator”.
Authorized users log into MYDHL +. Their email addresses are automatically checked in eSecure to confirm access if they are authorized
The Account Administrator can use eSecure to control and manage users who can use your DHL account. This is based on their email addresses and / or domain name.
Users can then use all the features, with additional security.
Your account is then secured with only the email addresses you have configured.
Please note we’ve activated the “eMail ID consent” option by default. This allows your future shippers, upon their first shipment only, to have visibility on who is the eSecure admin for your account(s). Meaning they have the possibility to contact you for urgent approvals. We kindly redirect you to the video here above (2:17 minutes) to check this feature. You can disable this option any time within your MyDHL+ profile –> Shipment settings –> Access eSecure –> Account No –> option ‘’eMail ID Consent’’.
