Sustainable Aviation Fuel: a better alternative
SAF is produced from sustainable sources, such as used cooking oil and agricultural waste. This fuel is then blended with traditional aviation fuel and supplied to airports and aircraft. Our goal is to have over 30% of our fuel mix comprised of SAF by 2030.
Through the recognized Book & Claim methodology, we can offer GoGreen Plus globally, regardless of where we purchase SAF.
Reduce your CO₂ emissions with GoGreen Plus
GoGreen Plus automatically activates with your DHL Express basic contract, investing in a 30% reduction in CO₂ emissions. We handle the purchase of SAF for all your express air shipments. Choose from other standard CO₂ reduction targets, such as 10%, 50%, or even 70%, each with a customized rate.
Do you have your own climate goals? No problem! With GoGreen Plus Custom, you can set your own CO₂ reduction target. Everything is customizable: whether you want to save CO₂ per kilogram or prefer to invest a fixed amount monthly from your green budget, we’ve got you covered!
Each year, you will receive an SGS-validated certificate for your achieved Scope 3 CO₂ reduction.
